How the Wafrow + Braze integration works

1. Build your visual template

Design your dynamic banner in Wafrow's visual editor. Add text layers for user first name, offer copy, or loyalty tier — and image layers for product photos or brand logos. Every layer can be overridden at render time.

2. Paste snippet into Braze with Liquid variables

Copy the Wafrow image snippet. In the Braze HTML or drag-and-drop editor, paste it as an image source and replace placeholders with Braze Liquid variables like {{ ${first_name} }} or {{ ${email_address} }}.

3. Real-time rendering at open

When a user opens the message, Braze has already substituted the Liquid variables with real user data. Wafrow reads those values, renders the personalized image in real time, and serves it via CDN on every subsequent open.

How do I add personalized images to Braze email campaigns?

In your Braze email template, insert an image block and set the source URL to your Wafrow endpoint. Append Braze Liquid variables such as {{ ${first_name} }} as query parameters. Wafrow renders a unique image per recipient at the moment the email is opened.

Does Wafrow work inside Braze Canvas flows?

Yes. Wafrow image URLs work in all Braze message channels that support HTML — email, in-app messages, and Content Cards. Because rendering is lazy (at open time), there is no impact on Canvas send throughput.

Can I use Braze custom user attributes in my dynamic images?

Yes. Any custom user attribute available in Braze Liquid is supported. Pass the attribute as a URL query parameter and Wafrow renders it as a dynamic text or image layer in the output.

Does Wafrow work with Braze Connected Content?

Yes. You can combine Wafrow with Braze Connected Content to fetch external data (product feeds, loyalty tiers, live pricing) and pass those values into the image URL at render time.
