Landing page design inspiration

SEO is a critical marketing acquisition channel which I'm just beginning to tackle. One of the highly searched terms on Google are of the form "Landing page design inspirations" and its translations into other cultures such as "optimierung landingpage".

I am hesitant to build something just for robots where I don't find any value myself. The glossary pages were an experiment of this form and something I'm not very proud of.

Hence, I went for an approach to select firms that get the highest votes on producthunt for English or are listed as fastest growing German/French/... (you get the drift) startups in a magazine listing to scrape their landing page designs.

Just doing the scraping and the way they do stuff gave me so many ideas to do my own landing pages better. 3 changes I've made to wafrow using this exercise:

1. The meta descriptions and text is already slightly better across the board on wafrow
2. I'm reshooting a bunch of onboarding videos now (will upload tomorrow, worst case on Monday) to make the product more personable
3. I realized that while I personally prefer a spartan design language, the most eye catching landing pages had a person's face and it got me to read the text more. Need to invest time here and I'm also validating this with customers.

English and German are now live. French, Dutch, Spanish and Arabic are still being scraped so ~early next week.
